I got a fellowship to go to Baja for a week with Ecology Project International. We camped on Isla Espiritu Santo and snorkled coral reefs in the Sea of Cortez surveying sea stars and sea urchins.

We also swam with sea lions and whale sharks, studied the land ecology a little bit and went hiking near La Paz with local high school students.
